The New Website Is Live — and a New Free Guide Is Available

Over the past few weeks, I have been working on a refreshed version of the GRACE: Plain & Simple website.

The aim has been simple: to make the purpose of the project clearer.

GRACE: Plain & Simple is being written to help Christians understand why the Cross had to happen, how Christ’s saving work answers our deepest problem, and how grace secures the believer’s standing before God.

The refreshed website is designed to make that message easier to find, easier to follow, and easier to share.

It now includes clearer pages about the book, the purpose behind it, and the resources connected with the project. It also gives visitors a better starting point if they are new to GRACE: Plain & Simple and want to understand what the book is about.

The Fourfold Barrier Explained

Alongside the refreshed website, I have also made available a new free guide: The Fourfold Barrier Explained.

This short guide introduces one of the central ideas behind the book.

Many Christians know that Jesus died for our sins. But we may not always be clear about why the Cross was necessary, or what problem Christ came to answer.

The guide explains four barriers that stand between us and God:

• God’s holy goodness
• The debt of sin
• Bondage to a hostile power
• Spiritual death

It then shows why no amount of self-effort, religious activity, or moral improvement can remove those barriers — and why we need God Himself to act in grace.
