About the Book

GRACE: Plain & Simple:

Why the Cross Had to Happen—and How It Secures Your Standing with God.

Many Christians believe the gospel sincerely, yet still struggle to explain how its central truths fit together. They know words like sin, grace, forgiveness, justification, and the Cross, but the message those words express can still feel unclear.

GRACE: Plain & Simple exists to make that message plain.

This book is written for Christians who believe, but still feel unsure how the pieces fit together. It is for readers who want clarity without technical theology, but also without oversimplification. It is built on a simple conviction: most believers do not need novelty or unnecessary complexity. They need clarity.

That clarity begins with the real problem. The book starts where the Bible starts: with humanity’s condition before God—and with a need no amount of effort, morality, or religion can resolve. This is why the Cross had to happen.

From there, GRACE: Plain & Simple traces the Christian message as a connected whole. It follows the logic of redemption through the person and work of Christ and leads into the realities of forgiveness, justification, freedom, new life, and assurance. The aim is not merely to define Christian terms, but to show how the gospel holds together—and what Christ’s finished work means for a believer’s standing with God now.

This site supports that purpose through short essays and clear explanations drawn from the book project. Some pieces are introductory. Some go deeper. All are written with the same aim: to help believers understand the message of grace more clearly, and so live in it more confidently.

At heart, GRACE: Plain & Simple is about clarity, assurance, and the sufficiency of what Christ has done.

Because when grace is finally clear, everything else can be understood in its proper place.
