GRACE: Plain & Simple
Why the Cross Had to Happen—and How It Secures Your Standing with God
Plain & Simple
Rooted in Scripture.
Written for clarity.
We know that salvation is by grace, but why did the Cross have to happen at all?
GRACE: Plain & Simple explains the problem beneath the problem and shows how the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus address our deepest needs. Biblical truths such as redemption, substitution, reconciliation and justification are explained in clear, accessible language.
The aim is simple: to help Christians understand the Gospel more deeply and live with greater confidence in what Christ has already accomplished.

About the Book
Grace is familiar. But is it understood?
Grace is one of the most familiar words in Christianity—and one of the least understood.
GRACE: Plain & Simple begins with the problem beneath the problem. Scripture presents humanity’s predicament in more than one way: we face God’s holy goodness, carry the debt and corruption of sin, live under the power of hostile spiritual forces, and are spiritually dead apart from God. Together, these form what the book calls the Fourfold Barrier.
The good news of the Gospel is that Jesus Christ addresses every part of that barrier. His birth, life, death and resurrection are not isolated events, but the one saving work of God.
Along the way, the book explains biblical words such as redemption, propitiation, substitution, reconciliation and justification in clear language, showing not only what they mean but why they matter.
When the Cross is understood, grace becomes solid, assurance grows, and believers can begin to live from acceptance rather than striving towards it.
